6 Shady Strategies To Find A Wii Today (Even If You Think You Can’t!)

With Nintendo Wiis still sold out everywhere — for over a year now — shoppers are going to every length to find a Wii. So the question is: How are you going to get your hands on the hottest game console ever?

Easy! The seven tricks in this article will give you an immediate edge on the other shoppers. With these seven methods, you’re sure to find a Wii in no time. Never give up!

1) Use a Wii tracker. Websites like WiiTracker, Outastock, and Weebly track inventories at hundreds of retailers, such as Circuit City, WalMart, and Dell, and post notices as soon as new Nintendo Wiis become available at any of them.

2) Get cozy with store owners. Once they trust you, they’ll tell you when new shipments are expected in. I suggest subtle flattery, and bribes if you’re feeling confident. Also, check out smaller, less popular stores. There’s a lot more competition to find a Wii at Wal-Mart than at Randy’s Video Game Shack.

3) Be quick! “The store had five Wiis in stock when I called, but I got there two minutes too late.” Sound familiar? You don’t want to be that guy, do you? Then don’t come whining to me if you have a Nintendo Wii within your reach and somehow lose it. The moment you find a Wii in stock, buy.

4) Craigslist - You can very likely find a Wii in your area on Craigslist at a reasonable price. But be warned: Although there are many legitimate sellers on Craigslist, it’s also a favorite of criminals with stolen goods to get rid of. As a general rule of thumb, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

5) eBay is one of the easiest places to find a Wii, with over 1000 listings, but be warned that you’ll likely pay a lot more with an competitive auction than at a normal retailer, such as Amazon.

6) Amazon - Last but not least, Amazon is rarely sold out of Wii’s for long. They get new shipments all the time. Maybe that’s why they’re so popular? There are also a number of smaller retailers who sell Wiis through Amazon.

There’s a reason the Wii’s sold out everywhere. It’s because it’s the coolest, funnest product around. So good luck in your quest to find a Wii!
